Todor Cooklev is Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Purdue University Fort Wayne, Indiana. He has contributed to the development of a number of communication standards. His current research interests include most aspects of modern wireless systems. He has served on the Board of Governors of IEEE Standards Association and is currently editor of the wireless and radio communication series of the IEEE Communications Standards Magazine.
Andrew E. Yagle is Professor Emeritus of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Michigan. He is the recipient of several research and teaching awards including the NSF Presidential Young Investigator, ONR Young Investigator, College of Engineering Teaching Excellence Award, the Eta Kappa Nu Professor of the Year Award, and the Class of 1938E Distinguished Service Award. He is a past member of the IEEE Signal Processing Society Board of Governors, the Image and Multidimensional Signal Processing Technical Committee, the Digital Signal Processing Technical Committee, and the Signal Processing Theory and Methods Technical Committee. He is a past associate editor of the IEEE Transactions on Signal Processing, IEEE Signal Processing Letters, Multidimensional Systems and Signal Processing, and the IEEE Transactions on Image Processing.
