Gaspar Bacon has been for years a close student of constitutional law, and is able, because of his detailed acquaintance with the subject, to bring out those essential characteristics of the Constitution that everyone should know. The book embodies the first series of lectures delivered at Boston University on the Bacon Lectureship.
